We want to know about the lives of the children we support. In our Photofriend project, we teach them how to use digital cameras so that they can express themselves and record their lives through photographs. This allows them to document their daily living experiences and needs, and helps us to see their reality through their eyes.
The photographs taken by the children are also one of the ways we build a connection between donors and the boarding houses that they support, a connection we feel is important to helping inform those abroad about the situation on the border.
